In 1690′s time the concept of magic was absurd to the public, save for those that specialized in herbal medicines or motives to heal others. There was a young man that had ambition to learn stronger magic, and often at the costs of tragedy in the area, usually unknown to him. Vanth, picked up alchemist level books and arcane ones from a young age when he took interest and realized he had a knack for it.
